Meet, connect and design with architects Kengo Kuma and Associates, Snøhetta, Anne Holtrop, Akihisa Hirata and Neri&Hu from Fumihiko Maki’s iconic Hillside Terrace in Shibuya, Tokyo.

As a member of the design team develop research and a timely proposal for Tokyo in-person with your selected architect while receiving an intimate first-hand experience of the architect’s culture, design thinking, methods, processes and workflows, as well as how they organise and structure their practice for competitions and design studies.

In addition to the professional studio experience, mentorship and design project, balance your time in Tokyo by connecting and learning from senior architects, partners and directors from all the firms during project reviews, talks, dinners, social gatherings and fieldtrips at Tokyo’s most renowned locations.

Venue

Our program headquarters and studio spaces are located at Hillside Terrace in Daikanyama, a short walk to the famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing in the metropolitan centre of Tokyo. Designed by the highly influential Japanese modernist architect, Fumihiko Maki, Hillside Terrace is a coveted building complex in a lively and culturally rich area of the city.
