Studio Spaces
Balance living in Venice while working together with the architects in a fully equiped historic building in the centre of the old city.
Often described as an internship rather than academic classroom, the studio at Venice Studio is a place to learn about and experiment with the processes, methodologies, workflow, research and ideas of the architecture practice within your own design project.
Fieldtrips
Visit celebrated buildings, museums, cultural landmarks and places unique to the Venice community within the historic city or be guided further afield to experience the surrounding lagoon, outer islands or mainland for research and design development purposes.
Talks
Venice Studio Talks brings together renowned architects from practices around the globe to discuss new projects and emerging trends within their practices and the wider industry.
Opening & Closing Celebration
Be introduced to the program and meet the architects and students during a relaxed morning tea. A final celebration, after the presentation of the student projects, marks the close of the program.
Networking & Social Events
Meet all the architects and students from across the program at multiple meet-ups around the city.
Industry Recognition and Mentorship
Venice Studio promotes close mentorship between architect and student during the program and the development of that professional relationship once the program concludes enabling each student to build their network and capitalise on future industry opportunities.
Project Presentation
All design projects developed during the program are presented, for feedback, to the architects, special guests, student cohort and members of the public.
Porfolio
Students develop professional design projects for their portfolio accompanied by an architect issued reference letter and transcript.
